The Nuisance

Description

The Nuisance is Frankenstein Gunworks’ flagship AR-platform rifle, built around a simple philosophy:

Perfection Through the Sum of Parts.

Why “The Nuisance”?

Every Frankenstein Gunworks rifle takes its name from a nickname associated with a stage in the life of the American alligator.

The Nuisance occupies the middle of that progression—a mature, capable animal that’s grown well beyond its early stages and demands to be taken seriously.

That made the name a natural fit for our 5.56 carbine. The Nuisance sits between the compact The Striper and the premium The Bull, delivering the size, capability, and versatility expected from a full carbine.

Like every name in the Frankenstein Gunworks lineup, The Nuisance is a piece of Florida built into the rifle’s identity.

Rather than relying on a single manufacturer’s catalog, Frankenstein Gunworks selects proven premium components from respected American manufacturers and brings them together into one purpose-built rifle.

At the heart of the Nuisance is a 16.5″ Krieger barrel chambered in .223 Wylde with a 1:8 twist, providing compatibility with both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition while delivering the accuracy Krieger barrels are known for.

The Nuisance is configured as a premium, hard-use rifle with components selected for reliability, accuracy, handling, and longevity. Every component is chosen because it contributes something to the complete system—not because of the name stamped on the side.
